Weight Loss Myths – Debunked.

I want to touch upon a few weight loss myths that I have come across during my fitness journey.

We don’t want to be misled through all the information that is available to us.

Let me know if these tips help you through your fitness journey.

. You must only do cardio.

Cardio needs to be incorporated with weight training. These two go hand in hand. You will shread the weight but also build muscle and cut a leaner figure.

. You can spot reduce.

Again this is not true. People lose weight in different places. Everyone has a different body type and physique. You cannot pick where you lose the weight so the best thing to do is lose weight overall.

. You have to cut out alot of food.

Yes you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight, however, you don’t need to cut out alot of food at once. Only cutting out a few calories weekly is enough and on top of that is manageable.
