Take A Step Back

Peoples behaviours can have an impact on our emotions, so here are a few things that you can do to step away from this. 

  1. When you are experiencing someone else’s emotions that aren’t benefiting you, take a step back and recognise what is actually going on and how you feel at that present time. 
  2. Distance yourself from that person and how they are feeling. Look at it from an outside point of view. 
  3. Accept the situation for what it is and decide how you want to progress. 

This doesn’t mean that you are accepting the person’s behaviour, it simply means you are reframing your own mindset and thoughts in order to help you be in control and feel less stressed.
