I don’t know if you can relate, but I find it hard to take a break or take time out.
I always feel as though I should be doing something.
Taking a break has many benefits. What are they?
- It enables you to look at things from a fresh perspective
- It allows you to recharge your energy
- It lets you reconnect with yourself mentally
- It lets you know that you are allowed to pause
Pausing doesn’t just mean stop what you are doing and be silent, it can be from going on a brisk walk, having a cup of tea or coffee, mediating, listen to a podcast or whatever makes you feel good in a short period of time.
For me, I am going to do a 5-10 minute daily mediation.
