How To Build Self-Trust

Trusting yourself is so important, however building that self-trust can be hard work.

When you don’t trust yourself, you often overthink things, did I upset them? What if they don’t like me anymore. On top of that if you don’t trust yourself, you are afraid to take action when you truly want something as you are scared of failing. 

So, how do we build that trust?

  1. Get to know yourself. What do you like to do? What don’t you like? What is it like being you? Connect with yourself on a daily basis. 
  2. If you promise yourself something, stick to it. For example, if you say you will drink your 2litres of water each day, do it. You have your own back. 
  3. Take a detox from social media. Don’t get stuck in what other people are doing.
  4. Don’t ask for people’s opinions. What others say isn’t always correct.
