When I take weekends off from my business, I feel stressed that I am not using my time productively, but in reality I am. It is important to take time to relax and recharge.
This weekend was a very wholesome one, topped off with lovely weather.
It is a rarity when my partner and I both have a Saturday off together, so we decided to make the most off it. We didn’t have a plan in mind, only that we wanted to watch the Women’s tennis final on saturday. We jumped on the tube from Morden and ended up in Clapham.
Whilst everyone was enjoying the Common, our mission was to find the pub. We went to the Railway Tavern near Clapham North. It was a cosy pub and the prices for two pints were about £11 which for London prices, well let’s say it could be worse. The vibe of the pub was nice and they also have outdoor seating and an upstairs bit.

We carried on down the high street, stopping for a pint here and there. We were feeling a bit peckish so O’Neills was our go to for their mix and match plates, 3 for £14. We had fries, nachos and chicken wings.

Before heading back to Morden, we went to a little hidden secret. WC Wine & Charcuterie, it is a wine bar in a former water closet. We were greeted at the door and were given a lovely corner table. The vibe was cosy. The staff were so professional, they also had a great selection of wines and cocktails. They even gave us a taster if we weren’t sure of the wine. If you want a calm and laid back date night, this is definitely the place to be. They even have one in Bloomsbury.

A day out in london is never complete with a kebab, so once we were back in Morden, we stopped at a kebab shop to soak up the alcohol.
It was such a good day out and it reminded me to live in the moment.
Let me know what you got up to this weekend?
All The Best,
